thanks to the folks for the sweet words on Andre…for the other sickos who tried to comment…get a life.
Yesterday, at Reuters, the showbiz dude said: “Hey Kris, I have an extra press pass for the Alfie premiere, do you want to go?”
I said yes….
The premiere was at Leicester Square…it was packed with screaming fans and media. My little press pass got me into the “pen”.
Jude and his posse took their sweet sweet time to perform their “Vespers” – parading for the crowd and signing autographers…Reuters got up close and personal with “Alfie”, the director, Sienna, Nia Long and the secretary from Ally McBeal.
I know whipping out my little Elph is not the most professional thing to do, but hey, I’m only young once….might as well.
Yesterday was my first 15 hour work day for Reuters. In addition to the Alfie premiere…I also went on a shoot to the Frieze Art Fair in Regents Park. The powers that be sent me out with a cameraman to see if it was a newsworthy thing…
We both thought it was a cool event….the cameraman edited the piece and I wrote the script. My first package for Reuters went out on the Life feed at 3:00 pm….today.
🙂 I’m thrilled.
On my day off, Mark and I picked up cheap tix to Les Miz at Leicester Square. We managed to get these awesome, balcony, front-row, super-close-to-the-stage seats for only 25 pounds each.
We saw “Les Mis” at Century City years ago, it must be nice to see it again..this time at Leicester Square. So happy for you. Take care.
