ST. PETERSBURG – Sometimes, pay back can be a bear. As you can see, Louie wanted to make sure he had a chance to do some sightseeing in St. Petersburg.
It took my bears a few days to get over the jet lag. I think by the middle of the week, they were going stir-crazy in the hotel room.
We went inside Peter and Paul’s Fortress. It’s about a few minutes away from my hotel room. I had enough time to see St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral before I had to go to class.
Here’s Louie’s adventures in his own words.
LOUIE: LOUIE MADE IT TO ST. PETERSBURG!!!!!!!!!!!! YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLENTY OF TOURISTS AT CATHEDRAL. PLENTY OF TOURISTS SNAPPING PICTURES LIKE MY MOMMY.
LOUIE SAYS HI TO KITTY. KITTY DOESN’T SPEAK ENGLISH.
We also ran into a bunch of tours, all speaking different languages. According to my handy Lonely Planet book, a bunch of tsars and royal members are buried at the cathedral.
Facebook peeps and RSS readers – if you want to see more photos of St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral – check out my blog link for a photo slideshow.
