We went clubbing on Friday night….the Hippedrome…..it was 15 pounds to get in….it was expensive – but at least it had some great music….the Brits don’t really get funky on the dance floor – but then again – some folks in bay area clubs need to stay off the caffeine….
On Sunday, we took a second trip to the British Museum….we visited this one gallery dedicated to the British beginnings of archaeology….Mark sniffed at books that attempted to connect Druid history to archaeology…..We also checked out some of Celtic stuff in Europe…both in France and Britain and other places…..
After the museum – we crossed the street to the Museum Tavern – guide books say Karl Marx used to knock back pints after studying at the Museum’s library.
speaking of drinking…back at Sailsbury – we found this vintage….that shared my Prof’s name.
